… and welcome to our first post.
So – why should you worry?
Perhaps you know there’s something to worry about because it’s affected you (or someone you know) directly – energy prices, food shortages, or vaccine damage.
Or perhaps you suspect that there’s something more going on than the good-guys-and-bad, right-and-wrong picture that the government and the BBC would like us all to believe.
We agree.
We don’t think that we’re quite living in the world of The Matrix, but we are subjected to endless PR and propaganda – and sometimes barely a line separates them. Too many governments, corporations, organisations and people want us to simply believe their narrative.
If you can’t rely on your own experience, or your own senses, then you need to do research before making up your mind.
To find out the truth we must look beyond the mainstream, look past the barriers they throw up and the simplistic stories they want us to believe. The way towards the truth is to seek out multiple sources of information, beyond the mainstream, and ultimately – wherever possible – to look at the data ourselves. Then you can use critical thinking to analyse all the information and make up your own mind.
It can be hard work. However, there are many others who are also interested in the truth – we are not alone in this!
We aim to be a friendly voice – and to talk about information that we find, both good and bad, and draw attention to lies and misdirection. We have a list of information sources which looks beyond the mainstream media for quality writing, analysis and diverse opinions. We also have a list of books that might be of interest if you want to take a deeper dive into a subject. We also have some tips on being well-informed.
Thanks for stopping by, and we hope you find something useful on our site.
